Ur So Gay is the first extended play released by Katy Perry. The title song is written by Perry and Greg Wells and engineered by Drew Pearson. It was released digitally on November 20, 2007, and streamed on Perry's MySpace page. An Explicit and Clean version of the EP were released onto digital download sites worldwide. A physical copy, containing exclusive remixes was released only in the United States in November 2007 as a promo by Capitol Records. All other physical releases were made exclusive to the United States as well. The album cover of the 7" Vinyl wasn't part of a photoshoot, but a picture that was taken by a friend one night at a party Perry attended where she got drunk and danced around with a bunny-pinata on her head.
